Text Box: RON ROTHENBERG, M.D.
LECTURES TO
HUNDREDS/THOUSANDS

Since our last newsletter, California HealthSpan Institute (CHI) and founder, Ron Rothenberg, M.D., have been busy, busy, busy! Patient volume is increasing at CHI and the demand for Dr. Rothenberg’s clinical expertise in the field of anti-aging medicine is evidenced by the growing requests for his lecturing talents both at international and national symposiums, as well as his presence on various television and radio programs.

Locally, Dr. Rothenberg spoke to a sizeable gathering of business professionals, in La Jolla, California, on the topic of anti-aging medicine in early December 2001. The audience response was significant, validating what we already know; people want to feel good both mentally and physically for the duration of their lives and what we do at CHI can help them accomplish that goal. Dr. Rothenberg also has been the guest speaker on a variety of national radio shows over the last four to five months and again, the response from the audience has been positive. In March 2002, Dr. Rothenberg will once again be featured on UCSD television; this time he will be a guest speaker on MDTV.

On December 13th, 14th 15th and 16th, 2001, Dr. Rothenberg was a keynote speaker at the International Anti-Aging Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada, sponsored by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Rothenberg delivered an exceptional eduText Box: cational presentation on the latest clinical protocols in anti-aging medicine for human growth hormone therapy and testosterone replacement therapy. Dr. Rothenberg reviewed the latest medical literature published on the treatment of human growth hormone therapy and testosterone replacement therapy. Use of both of these hormones in the treatment of aging as well as illness was discussed. Treatment algorithms, side effects and potential treatment complications were also discussed. Current controversies in human growth hormone therapy, biochemical considerations and unusual clinical conditions were included in Dr. Rothenberg’s comprehensive educational lecture. Dr. Rothenberg was also called upon to speak at another educational session at the conference, which addressed the deterioration of the human immune system as a result of aging, autoimmune diseases, and infectious and non-infectious diseases that affect the elderly and even the younger immune-compromised population. Aspects of impaired immune systems were addressed in the presentation as well as correctable treatment protocols. Audience response to both of Dr. Rothenberg’s lectures was notable. California HealthSpan Institute (CHI) was an exhibitor at the symposium, offering conference attendees Text Box:
